After 30 years' teaching all over the world, Sandra founded TSRL to widen student access to the essential skills, strategies, attitudes, and beliefs - the 21st Century Competencies - needed to take ownership of their own learning in challenging academic programmes. Sandra also provides expert guidance for schools and families seeking neurodiversity support. Sandra's research in the field of self-regulated learning has been published and is required reading in the International and Comparative Education MA programme at King's College, London.

With a strong background in English Language and Literature education and curriculum design, Beth is passionate about creating engaging, impactful learning experiences and fostering critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity in her students. She has spent a decade and a half teaching and researching across both British and international education systems, incorporating the IB, GCSE, and A Level. Her doctoral research focused on reflective thinking and its benefits for IB students.

She supports students in learning Portuguese (her mother tongue), German and Spanish and is experienced with language learners of diverse backgrounds, ages, and ability.

Helen is a committed and enthusiastic educator with over 20 years of experience in International and British education, including IB, IGSCE, A – levels and GCSE. She is also an IB Workshop Leader, Examiner and Teacher trainer and leads Theatre workshops in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. She has a deep understanding of creative and critical thinking, utilising constructivist reflective practices focusing on the individual needs of each student.

Zoë brings a decade of teaching experience to TSRL. Her work as a teacher of EAL and English Language and Literature has taken her from the US to France, South Korea, and the UK. She is a passionate, culturally responsive educator who fosters critical and creative thinking, active inquiry, and service learning. Through discursive practice, Zoë encourages students to make connections between their learning and the wider world.
Our educators are all DBS checked and we have two Designated Safeguarding Leads.
