A 21st Century education requires 21st Century thinking

Pedagogy for a rapidly changing world

Cycle illustrating the qualities of a self-regulated teacher and their continuous development.

How we work

We collaborate closely with schools in the weeks leading up to planned workshops to ensure our educational consulting effectively builds on the school's strengths and aligns with their priorities. All workshops include engaging collaborative activities that provide practical experience with the CPD topic, alongside opportunities for discussion, reflection, and planning. Our follow-up aims to understand how professional learning has been integrated into classrooms and the impact on learning, while also supporting the development of self-regulated learners. Additionally, we explore how online tutoring can further enhance the learning experience where needed.

Universal Design for Learning

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework for designing curricula that actively engages all students, regardless of their starting place, in meaningful,  high-quality learning experiences. Through its emphasis on psychological safety and multiple methods of representation, engagement, and action and expression, UDL views the variability of learners as an advantage in the classroom. By building inclusive classroom communities and capitalising on students' strengths, UDL reveals hidden potential and ensures that all students thrive in in school. Through our educational consulting services, we provide whole school or small group Continuing Professional Development, assisting schools in understanding and embedding the principles of UDL into their teaching and curriculum design.

Service Learning

In today's globalised world, critical and creative thinking, active inquiry, and service learning are highly valued. Our educational consulting services support schools in developing Service Learning Programmes that encourage students to become self-regulated learners, making connections between their learning and the wider world, and aspiring to lead socially impactful lives.

Reflective Practice

Through whole school or small group Continuing Professional Development, we provide educational consulting to support schools in understanding and embedding the principles of Reflective Practice into teaching and curriculum design. This approach fosters critical thinking, creativity, and encourages students to become self-regulated learners, enhancing their intellectual curiosity.

Student-Centred Pedagogy

We offer workshops on student-centred topics that support educational consulting, such as: Effective Collaborative Learning, Structured Inquiry, and Assessment for Learning, all aimed at developing self-regulated learners in an engaging online tutoring environment.

Arts Curriculum Mapping and Programme Development

An effective Arts programme will not only develop students' artistic skills and nurture talent, but also foster a greater inclination towards creative thinking. This approach helps cultivate students into self-regulated learners, enhancing their powers of observation, which is vital for problem-solving. Through our educational consulting services, we will assist your school in moving beyond traditional concepts of the Arts to embrace a more progressive, 21st Century vision.
