A 21st Century education requires 21st Century thinking

Pedagogy for a rapidly changing world

Cycle illustrating the qualities of a self-regulated teacher and their continuous development.

How we work

We collaborate closely with schools in the weeks leading up to planned workshops to ensure they effectively build on the school's strengths and align with their priorities. All workshops include engaging collaborative activities that provide practical experience with the CPD topic, alongside opportunities for discussion, reflection, and planning. Our follow-up aims to understand how professional learning has been integrated into classrooms and the impact on learning.

Universal Design for Learning

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework for designing curricula that actively engages all students, regardless of their starting place, in meaningful,  high-quality learning experiences. Through its emphasis on psychological safety and multiple methods of representation, engagement, and action and expression, UDL views the variability of learners as an advantage in the classroom. By building inclusive classroom communities and capitalising on students' strengths, UDL reveals hidden potential and ensures that all students thrive in in school. We provide whole school or small group Continuing Professional Development, assisting schools in understanding and embedding the principles of UDL into their teaching and curriculum design.

Service Learning

In today's globalised world, critical and creative thinking, active inquiry, and service learning are highly valued. We support schools in developing Service Learning Programmes that encourage students to make connections between their learning and the wider world, and aspiring to lead socially impactful lives.

Reflective Practice

Through whole school or small group Continuing Professional Development, we support schools in understanding and embedding the principles of Reflective Practice into teaching and curriculum design, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and self-regulated learning.

Student-Centred Pedagogy

We offer workshops on student-centred topics that enhance self-regulated learning, including Effective Collaborative Learning, Structured Inquiry, Assessment for Learning, and Problem-Based Learning.

Arts Curriculum Mapping and Programme Development

An effective Arts programme fosters towards creative thinking and prepares students with 21st Century Competencies needed for a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing world. We help schools develop Arts programmes that intentionally develop the thinking that will prepare them for an unknown future.
